Bringing Awareness & Resources
Each September, the world recognizes Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. It is a time to bring into the light one of the most difficult conversations—suicide and the silent struggles that so many carry. In the U.S. alone, more than 49,000 lives are lost every year, while millions more contemplate or attempt suicide.
Awareness matters. Compassion matters. Resources matter. But I believe healing at the root of despair is what creates lasting hope.
My Personal Connection
In 2008, my mother died from complications of her second suicide attempt. That same year, one of the nation’s suicide prevention organizations was founded. How ironic—and how heartbreaking—that as awareness was growing, our family was already walking through devastating loss.
Her death changed me forever. It also deepened my calling: to help those suffering release the patterns of trauma, despair, and generational pain that can feed hopelessness.
Healing for Those Contemplating Suicide or Surviving an Attempt
If you’ve thought about ending your life, survived an attempt, or wrestle with the spirit of suicide, hear me: your life has value and meaning.
Through my Cross Reference Healing programs at Jolisa Clare Holistic, I guide women, men, and young adults where root-cause healing needs to be addressed so that despair can shift into clarity and inner peace. Each of my 7- 14- or 24-session journeys offers:
Emotional safety and nervous system regulation
Spiritual clarity when life feels dark
Release from generational trauma patterns
A gentle, spirit-led pathway to hope and renewal
When the root causes are addressed, the urge toward suicide can lessen—and the spirit of suicide can dissolve.

For Those Affected by Suicide
Maybe you’ve lost someone. Maybe you’re holding space for a loved one in crisis. Grief, fear, and helplessness are natural responses. Healing your own heart matters, too.
Community, compassionate support, and safe processing are vital parts of moving forward. If you need space to breathe, weep, or remember—you are not alone.
A Call to Those in Despair
If you are reading this and you’ve thought about ending your life, or if you’ve even tried, I want to speak directly to you:
-You are not broken -You are not beyond hope – You are not alone
What you are carrying is heavy, but it can be lifted. There is another path forward—one that allows you to release the pain at its roots, rebuild emotional safety, and remember the value of your life.
Please call 988 if you are in immediate danger of harming yourself. And when you are ready to explore deeper root-healing work, I would be honored to walk beside you through one of my programs.

Closing Invitation
This September, may we open our hearts to the truth that suicide is not the end of the story. Healing is possible. Hope is possible.
If your soul is longing for a safe, spirit-led space to address trauma at its root, I warmly invite you to explore my healing programs or schedule a complimentary discovery call. Together, we can release what weighs you down and walk toward freedom, peace, and life.
I will be holding a space of freedom for you,
Jolisa Clare
